Ohhh...I love their Northwoods seasoning! It is definitely one of my go-to spices when I'm making chicken or steak. After your recommendation, I might have to get some of the Parisien Bonnes Herbes. I'm always looking for new flavors!

yeah, I agree - the 4 rules are pretty good. I think, with the exception of his hypnotherapy techniques, most of what I heard him say is recycled Geneen Roth. As you say, people do need to get better acquainted with their own minds - they might be surprised!

I think NLP can be a very powerful thing. It's too bad people get weirded out when they hear "psychotherapy". I don't think people realize how powerful their minds are.

His 4 rules are genious in their simplicity I think. I just wrote about him too:

Hi there!

I'm a registered dietitian with a website. I'm wondering (and so are my visitors) why people keep diet blogs. So I have an offer for you...

I'd love you to tell my readers, in your own words, why you blog. You'll get an entire page on my website devoted to your response, as well as a link back to your blog. (In return, I do ask that you give a link back to my site, maybe even link to MY blog.)

How about it? As an RD, I'm very curious as to what motivates people to blog about their eating, and whether they actually benefit. (I want to know whether I should recommend blogging to my clients and readers!)

Would you PLEASE participate? All you have to do is fill out the form at

http://www.personal-nutrition-guide.com/diet-blogs.html#INV

I hope you will!

All the best in all your efforts,

Suzette Barancik

Just goes to show that moms know more than doctors...once again! Seriously, though, I have read something along these lines once before. I not only believe picky eating is genetic, but also that children observe others in their family who turn their nose up at certain foods and copy that behavior.

That's why Mike and I try not to complain about math! :)

Another suggestion for extra zucchini? Give them to your friends, the G-Gs, who seem to be genetically incapable of growing zucchinis. Have you ever heard of such a thing? Seriously--we love them but have to buy them at the farmer's market!! :)
